CHICAGO KIA DEALER BLOGS

Sedans certainly have their appeal, but if you want more space or to sit higher off the ground, the crossover utility vehicle (aka: CUV) market is where it's at. Kia has several crossovers and they fit a variety of shopper needs, budgets, and life stages.

Starting off the CUV lineup is this cult classic: the Kia Soul. The Soul is a quirky model with a polarizing look. Its style may not be everyone's cup of tea, but you cannot deny the vehicle's cult following. It sits a little lower than the rest of the crossovers, but it does have a surprising amount of cargo space.

Next up is the Kia Niro, and this hybrid offering is brand-new for 2018. We love its attractive price tag that makes it an affordable hybrid for average drivers and its contemporary look that doesn't scream "hybrid on the road!" Standard features include a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, Bluetooth, and driver select modes.

The Kia Sportage is a little larger than the Niro and is a good size for smaller families. It's a little more refined and offers up a smoother ride, sophisticated cabin, and technology that dampens noise at highway speeds.

Last, but certainly not least, is the Kia Sorento. It has three-rows of seating and can fit up to seven passengers. Its size makes it a good fit for larger families who prefer to stay in the CUV market than get a Kia Sedona minivan, people who do a lot of carpooling and need the extra seats, or those that plan to keep the third row folded most of the time and take advantage of the extra cargo capabilities.
